A timeless example of one of Rolex’s most enduring designs, this vintage Datejust 36 dates to approximately 1976 and features the classic stainless steel reference 1603 configuration. The silver sunburst dial is finished with applied baton hour markers, warm vintage luminous plots and Rolex’s signature date display with Cyclops magnification. Its stainless steel engine-turned bezel provides a distinctive period-correct alternative to the more commonly seen fluted bezel. Inside is Rolex’s automatic Calibre 1575, an important vintage movement recognized for its durability and straightforward functionality. The watch is paired with a stainless steel Jubilee bracelet containing 22 links. Presented in very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and character consistent with a timepiece approaching 50 years old. This watch is offered without its original box or papers.
