How long does a valuation take?
Usually the same day. Robert prices against live comparables for that specific reference, so an unusual piece can take a little longer.
Do I need the box and papers?
No. They add value and make a piece easier to resell, but plenty of good watches have lost theirs. Say what you have and it gets priced accordingly.
Is the valuation binding?
It holds provided the watch matches what you described. If something undisclosed turns up on inspection, we discuss it before anything is finalised.
Do you buy Rolex?
Yes — Rolex is the reference we are asked about most. Submariner, Datejust, GMT-Master, Daytona and the rest, full set or watch only. Send the reference and condition and Robert will come back with a number.
What if I'm not in Los Angeles?
Ship it fully insured at our cost. The piece is inspected on arrival and payment follows the same day it is agreed.
