360° How to film a spin for a watch
One smooth full rotation, about 10–15 seconds. Film it, send me the clip, and I turn it into the spinning viewer automatically — exactly like the Seamaster Diver 300M. No app, no editing.
- Turntable. Stand the watch on its clear display stand on a small turntable. A motorized one is smoothest (search “motorized display turntable” — usually around $15–30); a manual lazy-susan works if you turn it slowly and evenly.
- Background. Plain white behind it — white foam board or poster paper — so it matches the listings.
- Camera. Phone on a tripod or stand at dial height, locked in place. Only the watch turns, never the camera. Shoot vertical (portrait).
- Framing. Center the watch so it fills about two-thirds of the frame with a little margin. Clean the crystal first — fingerprints show.
- Light. Soft and even — beside a window, or two lamps at 45°. Angle it to avoid glare and reflections on the crystal.
- Record. Lock focus & exposure (tap and hold on the dial until it locks), then film one slow, steady full rotation over ~10–15 seconds. Keep your hands out of frame.
- Stay consistent. Same background, distance, height, lighting and spin direction for every watch, so the whole collection matches.

Avoid
- The camera moving (only the watch should)

- The watch off-center or too small
